The University of Cincinnati, ranked #63 on U.S. News and World Report’s Top Public Institutions list (2015), provided students the opportunity to experience a top-flight urban institution. Yahoo travel lists the University of Cincinnati among the nation’s most beautiful college campuses along with Cornell, Duke, Notre Dame, Princeton, Stanford, Vanderbilt and Yale (2011). For the cultural component, students visited the nationally acclaimed National Underground Railroad Freedom Museum.
The University of Notre Dame’s TRiO Programs understand the need for positive and impactful mentors/ roles models. In turn, four male TRiO administrators served as mentors during this experience.
