The 8th Annual Father Ted Walk/Run

The Return Saturday, September 16th, 2017 (2).png

The Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C., affectionately known as Father Ted, established programs during his 35-year presidency at Notre Dame to advance social justice. TRiO Programs were of personal interest to Hesburgh as they provide an opportunity for first-generation, low-income high school students to attend college.  Established in 1966, TRiO Programs has maintained an active presence at the University of Notre Dame and in the Michiana community for over 50 years. In its pursuit to continue to provide students with resources in preparation for college, all proceeds of the Father Ted's 5k Fitness Walk, 5k Run, and 10k will benefit participants of Upward Bound and Talent Search to get a "running start on education."

To register for the 5k Fitness Walk, 5k, or 10k, visit us here; to be a volunteer for the event, here; want to run, but can't attend, run virtually; and if lastly, if you would like to donate, visit us here
